A native New Yorker, Rich has over twenty-five years experience in advertising media. He has proven his skill in developing media programs that consistently get better results. Rich’s media planning expertise is in a broad range of product and service categories, Including consumer packaged-goods, beverages, media, financial services, luxury goods, retail, automotive and B2B. He contributed to the success of such diverse and well-known brands as Nabisco Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookies, Volvo, Bear Stearns, and Dove bar cleanser and successfully launched Prego spaghetti sauce and Teddy grahams brands.
Using innovative media selection Woman’s Day magazine was one of the first advertiser’s to use Mobile Billboards, effectively drawing the interest of media planners/buyers to the magazines ad campaign, that helped increase sales and earn Rich a prestigious award for the “Most Creative use of Out of Home Media”.
Rich is well known and respected in the media community and has provided seminars to the sales staffs of publishing companies, including Crain Communications, Hachette Filipachi, Harvard Business Review, Taunton Press and more. His topic was “How to Navigate through the Media Buying Process”.
He serves on the Board of Directors of The Bronx Conservatory of Music, and as the school’s Chief Administrative Officer. His delight is seeing young children improve their lives by receiving high quality music education at the lowest possible cost.
Rich lives in Hamilton Squares, NJ with his wife Miclene and son Joshua.
